CHILD SUPPORT
Ontario Family Law legislation has incorporated the Federal Child Support Guidelines (CSG), which provides rules as to how child support should be calculated.

Parents can opt out of the CSG to make their own child support arrangements, as long as the best interests of the children are considered. However, both parents must agree, otherwise the CSG is mandatory.
